Features:

3.With special design, the reciprocating blade is touch safe in case of finger contact -it just causes slight vibration without cuts when skin contact.

What are the 6 functions of this kit?
The Z6000MZG kit can be assembled into six different machines: a bow-arm jigsaw, a metal lathe machine, a wood-turning lathe, a drilling machine, a milling machine, and a sanding machine. You can build one tool configuration at a time.

What is the advantage of the "Bow Arm" saw?
The bow arm design provides a larger throat depth compared to standard straight arms. This allows you to cut larger sheets of plywood or plastic without the arm obstructing the material, making it ideal for cutting curves in bigger model parts.

Can this machine cut steel?
The machine is designed for soft metals like aluminum, brass, and copper, as well as wood and plastics. While the metal components add rigidity, the 24W motor is best suited for non-ferrous metals. Cutting hardened steel is not recommended for this class of diy metal lathe.

Is the jigsaw blade safe for students?
Yes, the jigsaw uses a reciprocating action with a short stroke. While it cuts rigid materials effectively, the vibration is generally harmless if it accidentally touches soft skin, making it a popular choice for STEM education safety.
